I'm a fourth-year student at Northeastern in the combined computer engineering and computer science major. My career preference leans more toward solving interesting problems and challenging myself rather than seeking out any one particular software or hardware discipline.
On co-op at Genezen I replaced a set of end-of-life sensor transmitters and rebuilt their integration into the plant's Ignition system. I authenticated to the vendor's REST API and pulled live readings in Jython. I built sensor type definitions so that every new unit inherited historian logging and a display without anyone having to configure it by hand. This was the first time I owned an integration end to end, and most of the work was deciding what the data should look like before implementing any actual moving parts.
Currently I'm taking courses like Fundamentals of Electronics and Computer Architecture and Organization, looking for a full-time role starting after graduating in May 2027.
